Wearable eye tracking in real clinical settings

Almost everything known about attention and mental health comes from someone sitting still in a dark room with their chin on a rest. Wearable eye trackers let us record attention during an actual conversation, including a therapy session, and ask what those recordings tell us that a questionnaire cannot. One line of this work looks at whether the therapeutic alliance, which clinicians have always described in terms of connection and attunement, is visible in where two people look.
