Measuring attention with reaction time and eye movement tasks

The rest of the lab depends on being able to measure attention properly, which is harder than it sounds. This is the methods work behind everything else: the dot probe, the emotional Stroop, and statistical models that treat eye movements as a sequence of states rather than as a single average score.
