Originally from Nassau, Bahamas. I earned my B.S. in General Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice and M.S. in Community Psychology from Florida A&M University. I have worked as a mental health assistant, a case manager for sexual and gender minorities, a therapy intern, as well as substance abuse counselor in order to gain clinical experience prior to becoming a student at PAU. My research interests include trauma, domestic violence, African American mental health, and crisis intervention.
